HLT stands for the short-term hot liquor tank. As we all know, finished beer is around 90-95 percent water. As a result, it is critical to provide your brewery with the necessary hot liquor tanks! Experienced brewers nearly always say they wish they had more booze on hand. Having a specific vessel for this is critical. Liquor tanks not only supply big amounts of pre-set temperature liquor on demand for brew day. They also offer liquor for CIP purposes and all other basic brewery needs. Unfortunately, unlike brewhouses and basement vessels, liquor tanks do not get to view the bright lights! But don’t let that deceive you; they’re just as vital.
