CIP Skids are an essential piece of equipment for most micro distilleries. They are an actual framework and mechanism of delivering the cleaning agents to the pipeline or tanks that are used in production, specifically for cleaning. 
 
The CIP stands for ‘Clean In Place’ and the options of cleaning agents range from water, water with dosed detergent or chemicals such as Caustic/Acid or oils depending on the cleaning duties and end user duties. 
 
Our Bevo Tech Portable CIP is a small, movable CIP Skid. It is the perfect size for use in a smaller brewpub or microbrewery. Our CIP skid setup usually consists of two tanks: one hot liquor tank and one caustic tank, as well as a pump and bottom base frame assembly with wheels, giving you the flexibility to move your CIP.  
 
The Bevo Tech portable CIP is convenient, easy to operate, and highly adaptable to custom setups.

Advantages of the CIP System

  • Exposure to chemicals such as caustics, acids, sanitisers, disinfectants, and sterilisers requires intensive training to apply without risk of exposure as the cleaning solutions are contained within the CIP system. 

  • Repeatable, reliable cleaning leads to sustainable product consistency and quality. 

  • Zero contamination means zero product recalls. 
    In many cases, the caustic wash can be returned to its tank and re-used multiple times, which significantly reduces water, chemical, and energy costs over a single tank system. 

  • Cleaning time is reduced by pre-filling and pre-heating each tank as required prior to starting the cleaning cycle.
